FAQ’s
How many layers of coating do we use?
Our Granite Epoxy Floors have three layers.
1st layer - Epoxy 550 solid bond coat with the vinyl chips.
2nd layer - AU1000 clear coat.
3rd layer - Polyurethane 100 clear.
Our Solid Color Floors have 2 layers.
How long is the entire process?
It will take up-to three days, the floor must set overnight between the first and second layer.
When will I be able to walk on the floor?
You will be able to walk on your new epoxy flooring after 24 hours (light foot traffic only).
When will I be able to drive on the new flooring?
It takes seven days for a “full-cure” depending on the weather. (Seven days is based on 72 degrees average temperature.)
