AMARR CLASSICA TRANSITION TO CONVENTIONAL HARDWARE
In response to dealer preference for conventional hardware product, Amarr Classica CL1000, CL2000 and CL3000 will transition from pinch resistant to conventional hardware starting with doors produced April 26, 2021. AMARR CLASSICA TRANSITION TO CONVENTIONAL HARDWARE
After the April 26th transition, Classica sections will no longer have hinge-hole pockets and all Classica hardware boxes will ship with conventional hinges.
If replacement sections are needed, Classica conventional hardware sections and Classica SafeGuard sections are compatible. For Classica CL1000 and CL2000, stile stiffeners should be used.
Here are Instructions for Classica CL3000 replacement sections:
- 14ga conventional center and end hinges can be used to attach replacement sections, as pictured below on the left.
- 11ga conventional #1 CENTER hinges must be used when the hinge bridges over a hinge hole pocket on a SafeGuard section, as pictured below on the right.
