Dave Sciotto purchased the assets of Lodi Garage Doors & More from Overhead Door Corporation in 1985. Since then, Lodi Garage Doors & More developed a vision that there was a “need” for affordable yet solid quality products where employees are empowered to work as owners developing solid relationships with customers, vendors and coworkers taking on new roles as partners.
Lodi Garage Doors & More Structure
These original principles have taken on a more combined role over the years providing Lodi Garage Doors & More with a vision that has been built upon. Together we shaped our environment to provide more employee inclusion, breaking barriers allowing us to serve more of the community. We created more training programs including an extensive safety component, expanded our quality commitments. Furthermore, we have sought out professional accreditation in our effort to achieve solid value to our customers.
Lodi Garage Doors & More Giving Back
As a company we increased employee awareness of best practices when it comes to ethical practice with our customers which demonstrates the importance of “giving back” to our community’s youth, providing involvement to groups such as the Boys & Girls Club of America. Furthermore, we’ve increased the level of repairs offered understanding the importance of safety for people in their homes. This is directly in-line with our values in our employees. As a result, they all work as owners doing what it takes to ensure “Only Satisfied Customers”.
Our Team
Dave Sciotto – CEO/Owner (Retired 2022)
Lodi Garage Doors & More President
The owner of Lodi Garage Doors and More, Dave Sciotto’s mission was to build an organization that would support the “need” in Phoenix. To offer affordable yet solid quality products, offering customers the safety they deserve in their homes and work environments. Beginning in 1985 with the purchase of Overhead Door Corporation, Dave has been successful in realizing his goals having grown the company from 9 employees to over 80 today. Similarly, it’s this growth that has Lodi well equipped for its customers in a 24-hour capacity. Whether the function requires an emergency service representatives, home or business installation technicians.
In his effort to offer representation for Lodi customers in the Valley, Dave opened a showroom equipped with part counter assistance in the Phoenix Metro area which offer over 300 garage door designs, an improvement from the 4 door designs offered in 1985. Remaining the same since 1985, however, is the core principle of maintaining a commitment to the customer which has been responsible for the continued success of Lodi Garage Doors and More and will continue to remain the keystone of Lodi’s future business planning efforts.
Mr. Sciotto’s philosophy
“The one thing that has remained the same over all these years is our commitment to the customer, I have always believed that if you take care of your customers they will take care of you, to that extent our motto has been “Only Satisfied Customers” and everyone at Lodi knows that this drives all of the decisions we make and if they error on the side of the customer, they will never hear a complaint from me”.
An avid volunteer with the Boys and Girls Clubs of Metropolitan Phoenix, today Dave serves on the Foundation for the Clubs. Above all “The Phoenix Clubs are near and dear to my heart, it is a wonderful organization that does some amazing things for some truly deserving kids in our community and they do it with a staff that is constantly under paid and over worked, but they truly believe in what they do and they know how important they are to the kids”.
Mr. Sciotto is proud of the Boys and Girls Clubs of Metropolitan Phoenix for their fiscal responsibility, today .87-.88 cents of every dollar they raise goes directly to the benefit of the kids that puts them in the top echelon of all the non-profits in the country. “If you ever wanted to help kids and do it with people that will spend your money wisely the Boys and Girls Clubs of Phoenix is the place to go”.
